The 1301 and is lighter but feels more like a plastic gun. It shoots well and fast, although not noticeably faster unless you are pushing it to the max. The M4 feels more solid and feels better made. Head to head for a long term gun I would take the M4. The M4 feels stronger and robust.Personally I would pick the Beretta hands down. They are $300 cheaper (with KO) and about $600 cheaper if you get the Beretta without the Kickoff. Benelli's are lighter, but the front end is too light. All of the weight of the gun is in the back and I like a balanced gun as far as weight goes.
